KIT WINTER is a trial consultant who specializes in developing communication strategies for jury trials, bench trials and arbitration. Kit works with the trial team to develop compelling case themes and persuasive stories, and manages the testing of those themes and stories. He creates visual strategies that communicate your key arguments quickly, clearly and with an emotional resonance that sticks.
Kit became an attorney after working as a graphic designer in advertising. Kit brings 20 years of advocacy experience to his consulting skills. Before joining Lucid CGI, Kit was a partner at Dykema Gossett LLP. Kit’s litigation practice focused on trademark and copyright infringement, and trade secrets. His case history includes The Estate of James J. Marshall v. John Varvatos of California, Inc. (copyright infringement, defense), Juicy Couture, Inc. v. Lime Blue, LLC (trademark infringement, defense), and Deidre Hall v. South Beach Skin Care Inc. (trademark infringement, plaintiff). Kit is a frequent author and speaker on current issues in privacy and data security including crisis preparation, prevention and response, breach notification, and best practices in information management.
