Before joining Lucid CGI, Terry was focused on bringing antiquated media companies into the 21st Century, transforming dozens of print publishers into dynamic web-centric news distribution platforms. As Lead Software Developer for Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune, Terry played a critical part in their radically redesigned 2014 websites. On the user end, the redesigns centered on the sites’ need to be elegantly engaging and interactive. On the back end, the sites needed to be responsive, unified across all platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile) and efficiently manage massive amounts of varied content supplied from hundreds of sources.
At Baxter Financial Ltd., Terry managed an offshore team to develop the user interface for their online FX trading platform. At SDI Media (a major entertainment provider), Terry was the architect and programmer of the subtitling system, allowing the company to grow from 20 to 100 employees by reducing the costs and streamlining operations. Terry has also authored interactive products for Hitachi, Universal, Warner Brothers, and Disney, among others.
Terry’s projects have been written about in Communication Arts, I.D. Magazine and How Magazine. Terry co-developed the Art Center Narrative Catalog, which earned the first Clio for interactive design.
