Michael is a feature film animation veteran, and brings a strong set of skills in filmic storytelling as well as technical expertise in MoCap, 3D imaging and animation to the litigation arena.

MICHAEL WALSH is a producer and director of 2D/3D animation and video. His responsibilities include story development, coordinating and supervising talent, and advising on technology. Michael’s exemplary skills and talent meet our clients’ demand for excellence.

Michael is a film industry veteran and has worked on over 30 movies, television shows and AAA game titles at studios such as Sony Pictures Entertainment and Rhythm & Hues. His soup-to-nuts industry background ranges from blocking scenes to creating environments and animating characters.

As a motion capture artist, Michael’s film credits include 2012, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Land of the Lost and Beowulf. He worked alongside Steven Spielberg in the production of The Adventures of Tintin and with James Cameron on the technologically groundbreaking film Avatar.

As a previz/cinematic artist, Michael created virtual worlds and blocked out action sequences, working closely with directors to tell their stories through camera work and pacing. Michael was the virtual cinematographer on such films as Oz the Great and Powerful, The Amazing Spiderman and Green Lantern. He was Lead Compositing Artist on The Village, Passion of the Christ and The Terminal, creating seamless interaction between live action footage and computer-generated sets and matte paintings.
